We are so proud of our students and competitors this year in the junior national 9-ball championships.
A special congratulations to Skylar Hess who, at 14 years old, snapped off the 18u girls national title. She was awarded $1,000 in scholarship and will be representing the United States on the American team at the WPA worlds this November in Puerto Rico. Skylar is a student in our BCA sponsored Break and Run Online Instructional Program.
Kyle Yi of Texas, also in the Break and Run program, finished a strong 7/8 in the boys 16u division and held his own in the 18u division.
The Seymour brothers, Ezra and Donovan, as always, made an impression and are improving each year. Ezra picked up a sponsorship from Pechauer cues and he is over the moon excited.
Darragh and Keelagh O’Connor were new to this event and looked fantastic at the table.
Timothy Cossey and Aidan Wagner played strong in their divisions and are ready to come back stronger next year.
Sam Hoffman played in the 22u 10 ball division. Sam has been a student many years and has represented the US on the American team at the worlds in China some time back. It was great to see him.
The sleeping giant of our group – Eli Zahavi– has improved more than anyone in our group this past year. He had some bad rolls and could not catch a gear. But I am confident that he will be back next year and light up the event.
We are happy to say that this is the 9th consecutive WPA world championships American Team, where there will be students from our New England Training program, and now, the Break and Run Program. We are looking forward to many more.
Many of the players at this years BEF Junior Nationals have received training and coaching through the BCA sponsored Break and Run Premier Junior Instructional Program.
