Donovan Seymour

Donovan Seymour is 8 years old and lives in the Yosemite foothills of California. He started playing pool at the age of 6 as part of the “Break and Run” junior instructional program and loves to participate in tournaments. His favorite place to play is The Rack Billiards in Fresno, CA. Aside from pool, he is a very accomplished guitar player and very interested in cars.

Timmy Cossey

My name is Timmy Cossey and I am from Barnhart, MO where I attend 8 th grade at the Windsor Middle School, in Barnhart, MO. I have been playing pool for four years. Pool has allowed me to overcome obstacles and gain more confidence in myself and my skills on and off the table.

When I’m not playing pool and traveling for tournaments, I play tackle football and basketball, and enjoy hanging out with my friends. I also like to play video games and mini golf.

My mom is a Business Analyst, and she also owns a mechanic shop with my stepdad, Kerry. My dad is a Maintenance Technician for a local school district. They are my biggest supporters!

Siyu (Steven) Chen

Siyu (Steven) Chen is 13 years old. He is in grade 8 of Groton Dunstable middle school. In addition to playing pool, he likes playing basketball, Go, and listening to music. Steven has been playing pool for about 6 months and has been focusing on learning solid fundamentals.

Darragh O’Connor

Darragh O’Connor has been playing pool for just under 1 year.  She stays busy as a 9th grade student at the Bromfield school in Harvard ma.  Darragh competes on the school’s Junior Varsity soccer team and is a former level 7 gymnast. She loves to run and to bake.  She enjoys family, fashion and friends.  Above all else, Darragh is a fierce competitor.

Maj Badovinac

Maj is 12 years old. He started practicing at 9 years old. Works on a program. Palamares: 3rd league tournament winner, national 2nd league

David Gradišnik

Mitja Gradišnik (Coach)

Mitja is a father of two, jurist by education. Practiced law for many years, but quit his profession after recovering from cancer 9 years ago and founded Poolschool for children. Domestic vocational training for work in sport (Faculty of Sport) and internationally licensed by the EPBF (European pocket billiard federation, mentor: Mr. Jorgen Sandman) for work with national youth teams and developing athletes. Currently running classes for 22 kids (17 boys and 5 girls), 12 kids on queue, and 1-time
